![]() The cost of the pro overhaul w/ brass resos comes very close to the total cost of the horn so its a tremendous value. Some of the modern horns sound loud and one dimensional but this is a vintage French made horn with the qualities one would expect of such a handmade instrument. On its own it sounds excellent and lacking nothing. If you play them side by side you'll hear that the Selmer delivers more sound but at 5-10 times the cost of this horn. It has a rich and tonally complex sound similar to an SBA. It responds to a whisper of air straight down to low Bb. It has age appropriate wear and a few resolders including the bell to body brace. I'm not sure the vintage but I will assume late 50's. ![]() Made in Paris and with its inspiration from the SBA with split key guards, a similar neck and an offset right hand. ![]() Made in France and just overhauled with quality music medic pads and brass resos.
